There is only one place where the past exists: the human mind.
The Past is the impression that the present leaves on the human mind.
Our senses, thus, are no less than time machines.
They are our gateway to the past.
They take us on brief sojourns to the past.
The sight of an old photograph,
The smell of a long forgotten dish,
The sound of a song playing after years
They take us into moments in the past.
For some moments we cease to exist in the present
Completely transported to the intensity of a moment that passed long back.
We relive that moment.
And when we return,
We come back loaded with the emotions
And intensity of the moment we visited:
Anger and vengeance,
Or even a burst of laughter.
Who says time travel is not possible?
